A full and powerful Syrah with aromas of jammy dark cherry, blackberry, violets, and savoury black pepper. Red fruit, vanilla and butterscotch notes join on the palate, adding complexity.

The low yields and excellent fruit quality resulted in an exceptional 2020 vintage. The wines have intense flavour profiles, higher acidity and moderate alcohol levels. These attributes are great for pairing with food. We recommend it with Calabrian lamb chops, spaghetti alla Puttanesca, pork schnitzel with peppercorn sauce or Manchego cheese.

2020 Syrah was sourced from our Home Vineyard exclusively. All of our home vineyard is cared for under Gina's watchful eye throughout the year. Grapes are hand-picked, then hand-sorted before a very gentle pressing. Aged in French oak barriques, 50% of which were new, for 15 months.
