Intense black currant, blackberry, cherry, violet and spice aromas abound from this complex, harmonious wine. Appetizing acidity and a full texture create structure, while notes of small dark berry fruit, toasty oak, florals and herbs add intrigue and persist on the finish.
It pairs perfectly with rib eye steak, wild game, mushroom pizza, or dark chocolate cake.
This Cab is sourced from the Harfman family vineyards on the Osoyoos East bench, a property ending with the U.S. border fence – as far South as possible and benefiting from the moderating influence of Osoyoos Lake. This allows maximum ripeness in this Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, which was established in 1999.
Aged in mostly French, some American oak barriques for 15 months, of which 30% were new. Unfiltered, will contain sediment.
Only 120 cases produced, and we only produce a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon in excellent vintages; the last Cabernet produced was 2016.
