Treat your palate to this intense, textured, oaked Chardonnay. Golden Delicious apple, ripe peach, and vanilla custard on the nose transition to ripe pineapple, lemon and crème brûlée on the palate. Pairs with chicken, crab, mushroom risotto, or triple cream brie.

Although 2022 was cool to start, it enjoyed blue skies throughout the growing season and the sunny warm days of late summer and early fall ushered in outstanding fruit quality.

The majority of the Chardonnay was from Nostalgia’s Home Vineyard, harvested Oct. 25/2022, supplemented with Chardonnay grown at the Freestone Vineyard in Gallagher Lake. All the grapes were hand-picked then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vessels, then aged 6 months.

Aging was in 26% new French oak, 34% neutral French oak, and 40% stainless steel barrels. Partial malolactic fermentation was completed.
